So far, it works fine, but similarly to with other Disney merch, this kinda falls in that level of quality where it's just cheap enough to be passable and sold at a premium due to the branding. The waffle maker has a Mickey face side and a Mickey shorts side (back side). When i flip it to the shorts side, it's a couple degrees tilted unlike face side which stays level. (See video) Upon closer inspection, the teflon coating is kind of iffy, like if i were a little uncareful, I might accidentally damage it and cause it to flake off. (see photo showing the irons) The plastic housing is like a toy-plastic, like the Mandalorian Black Label helmet. I noticed that they probably use some kind of poly-rubber sealant to insulate particular areas during assembly. During unboxing, I noticed that there were some loose strands/shavings that hadn't been cleaned up after manufacturing so I picked those out which isn't a big deal. I recommend checking for these and removing them so you don't accidentally eat them with your waffles. Overall, the waffles were good and fine. I used a simple batter mix you can get from the grocers. Given the quality of materials, I just need to be really OCD about product care. From other reviews I've seen, they have either been perfectly stellar or tragic write-offs. I don't usually do so, but I bought the 鶹 extended warranty just in case. In the meantime, I do like having Mickey waffles without having to go to Disney. I just have to be mindful about care. /1 month update The ready indicator light is no longer consistent in detecting the griddle temperature and I have to do guesswork.

    Great for every Disney lover! We went to Disney in Oct 2021 and wanted those delicious waffles ever since. I ordered this in 2023 and we’re still using it today-2025. It is simple to use just follow the directions. It wipes clean easily. I use a basting or toothbrush to get the small crumbs out if there are any. The waffles usually come out clean. I wipe with a wet cloth to get off any residue. I just use a LIGHT spray of Pam before pouring the batter. I like the Belgian waffle mix the best.

    This time, our resort (Caribe Royal, booked through Costco) had a full kitchen in a spacious 2-bedroom villa, which made things super easy. Even at amusement park resorts that don’t offer kitchens, I’d still use this. I usually bring a double hot plate, mini convection oven, and a portable Bodega fridge/freezer when we travel. I’m pretty serious about eating quality food, and this waffle maker fits right into that setup. It’s perfect for creating a little travel kitchen with extra magic—especially when you don’t trust the quality of the restaurant food.

    We were at the parks for five days and stayed pretty busy, so I only ended up making waffles once, but they were quick, easy, and a lot of fun. For now, the waffle maker will probably live in a closet in its box until the next Disney trip inspires another round of organic Mickey waffles with maple syrup!

    I bought this waffle maker for our Disney World trip so we could make allergy-friendly, organic, fresh Mickey waffles—and it delivered! It’s a bit bulky, but since we drove, bringing it along was no big deal.

    My boyfriend and his kids have been to Disney World on almost every year of the kid's lives. The one thing they rave about are the Mickey Waffles. So I just had to get them a way to have them at home. I'm almost embarrassed to admit how much time I put into researching the right waffle maker and batter to make them. I'm going to give you the benefit of all that research: this IS the maker you want. Period. Don't hesitate. And the batter you want is also available - Carbon's Golden Malted Waffle Mix. If you want more information on why I've come to this conclusion keep reading. But the result was that the waffles we made were "exactly like we had at Disney World!" according to my crew.

    First: there were two kinds of "dies" that made the Mickey shape that I found out there on the market. When you search you'll see. This is the one you want. The other isn't that authentic shape from the park.

    Next do you need the double maker? Oh yeah. If you've got more than, say, two or three to feed I recommend the double maker. The waffles are about the size of a little one's hand or adult palm. My teen eats 3-5. So you can see if we're cooking for 5 how it adds up. It would take too long on a single 3 waffle maker. Once you've cooked enough for your family, the first ones would be cold. Get this double maker so you can crank out 6 at a time.

    Is it easy? It literally doesn't get easier. The kids make them for US some mornings!

    Durable? Yup! I always hold off on my reviews until I've put something through it's paces and this has endured so many breakfasts. Cleans easy. We just wipe it with a damp cloth while hot, let it cool and store on a shelf in the garage for the next use.

    If there's a Disney family in your life they WILL love this gift. Give it with a 2 pound bag of Carbon's Golden Malted Waffle Mix and they'll be transported back to their "Happiest Place on Earth"!
