These adapters were a perfect fit for My 2012 Ford Escape. Nice tight connections, and no problems at all to connect to the speakers, or the speaker wires from the suv. Some have mentioned needing to expand the clips with a screwdriver, but this is unnecessary. The connections are MEANT to be tight, and if you are familiar with this type of connection, you know all that you need to do is gently wiggle the connector as you slide it over the clip, rather than push it straight on. it will seat itself properly, once you get it started, and leave a tight, secure connection. These were a life saver, and I am 100% satisfied. ?

    Used to replace the broken stock speaker on a 2013 F150. I had read a previous review that the polarity was reversed on these adapters. I checked and confirmed myself using a 9V battery on the original speakers. Had to cut and switch both the leads, but the speakers worked great and hooked up quite easily after that!

    Great product works well, the only reason I didn¡¯t get a five star on the heading (easy to install) was because the two tabs inside the housing were bent too far down. Trying to connect the first harness was difficult until I checked what the position of the two tabs were in. Once they were straightened install was easy. I recommend this product.

    I ordered this item sometime ago and after ordering some new speakers for my truck. I used the connectors to tap into the existing factory harness so I wouldn't have to splice or modify any of the wiring. The Metra harness fit perfectly at both ends. Now the issue and why I gave this item such a low rating. When I would increase the volume, the speakers would pop. This is quite alarming, especially after spending a considerable amount of money on a sound system and new speakers. I decided to see if I could determine what the issue was by starting with the speakers, the previous factory speakers would not do this since upgrading the system so it only made sense that the issue was with the new speakers or wiring. Sure enough, I discovered that the wires are reversed on the Metra harness (+ is where - should be) causing the speaker to pop as the volume is increased. Mistakes happen and I understand that, however something as simple of a design as this should not have made it through inspection. Hopefully this hasn't blown up my speakers. I have removed the harnesses and reinstalled the factory speakers. Furthermore after doing some research online I see that this is a common issue.
    Looking forward to the manufacturers reply.

    Despite what the description and Â鶹Çø garage fitment thing may say, these adapters worked with my truck.

    I have a 2014 F150 STX. I got new Infinity speakers on Black Friday (2015). They came with the adapters. A few weeks ago, I started experiencing some issues with the speakers. The front and rear passenger speakers were both getting choppy and cutting out more and more frequently. Took the door panels off, took the speakers out, and the connections on the adapters already had rust all over them. I assume it was causing a poor connection. While I was disappointed that they lasted 5-6 months, they were free with the speakers after all... and these replacements here on Â鶹Çø are inexpensive.

    I figured I'd start fresh with new ones, so I ordered these. The Â鶹Çø garage thing said it didn't fit my truck. I ordered them anyways and they fit perfectly fine. Before I installed these ones, I just cleaned up the terminals and put dielectric grease all over them. Greased up everywhere I could - anywhere where moisture could get into. Hopefully this will prevent my rusting issue, or at least delay it a bit. A lot more water gets into those door panels than you would expect.

    Anyways, so far so good! Very happy to have everything functioning well again and sounding great!
