Once triggered, 113 db super loud alarm will be a great deterrence, can effectively scare bicycle thieves away.

Remote control operation - simple & convenient

Arm key: Press it once, host alarm will go into "Arm mode", 5s later, alarm will ring "Bi". Alarm will be triggered and ring if a vibration or shake is detected.

Disarm key: Under "Arm mode", press this key, alarm will drop out "Arm mode" and return to "standby mode".

Even if the host alarm is triggered, the alarm sound will stop at once when you press this key.

Change key: Press this key to select ringtone, 6 voice are available.

Ringtone key: alarm will ring the selected ringtone if you press this key, so it's easy to find your bicycle.

Long press the ringtone key of the previous remote control until hear sound "Bi", then press the arm or disarm key of the new remote control, the host alarm will ring "BI...Bi" to remind the pair is successful, you can use the new remote control now.

I mounted the alarm on my box type rear pannier using zip ties threaded through the fabric. The pannier is black (not grey as the photo shows) so the alarm is well hidden behind the seat. No need to use the double back tape supplied. Also the alarm can easily be removed if needed by cutting the ties from within the pannier.
Alarm fairly easy to set up except the instructions are difficult to understand as they are Chinese translated to English. It is necessary to read them over many times to get the meaning.
The alarm comes with a plastic tab that has to be removed so the batteries will function. A Phillips (star) screw driver is supplied to remove a small screw in order to access the batteries. A regular (spade) screw driver is needed to pry the two sections of the alarm apart to get at the batteries. This screw driver is not provide although a small plastic waffer is included for this purpose, but there is no way it will work as the two pieces fit very tightly together.
All in all I like this alarm. It is fairly loud and can also be used as a warning alarm when approaching pedestrians.

After looking at numerous devices to secure my bikes at home and on the road, this one is the best. Of course I will still lock my bikes. The moment someone touches my bike, this alarm goes off! Not enough time to cut my lock without drawing lots of attention.
The remote works just like a car alarm, it tells you when it’s armed when you click it.
I also secured one to my garage door, on a string. If the door starts to open, it will move the alarm and go off. Brilliant!
I have ordered two more, so four in total. Love these!

Installed this about 3 months ago but rarely used the alarm. A few days ago, I was about to go on a ride, tested the battery of the alarm and the remote by turning it on, and it worked. Tried to turn it off, and the remote wouldn't work. The remote light indicator was fading and I had only used this thing maybe three times at most. The guide says "The remote control uses 1 pc 12V/27A alkaline battery, normal usage more than 1 year (Assume: 5 times usage/day)" - so was I given a used battery?
Side note: It's a very loud alarm so had to put my earphones on when testing it at home before installing. Easy to install. If I can get a new remote battery, may try to fix the sensitivity.

As an additional layer of protection against the theft of your bike or other portable property, these are very good value. The remote is nice and compact and can be attached to a key chain without fuss. The alarm unit is also small and in our case, fits nicely under the bike seat with the use of the provided two sided tape. To add a little more secure placement, we used the long plastic ties that were also supplied.
Very loud alarm and responsive to bike movement once activated. Nothing is 100pct but the more deterrents you have the better the chance of beating the bad guys from taking your toys. This is a very Good Buy.

After my car got broken into, I decided to get a car alarm installed but I needed to do some research first. In the meantime, this device would give me some coverage. It's relatively small in size easy to set up and hide anywhere inside your vehicle. For me, the sensitivity is just about right. Once activated, hard closing of the car door will set it off. It's not perfect but for the money, it's very good value for security.

It takes 3 AAA batteries and as I've only had the unit for a week, I can't comment on battery life. I'll update this later once the batteries need replacing.
