    The best thing about this pad of paper is that it lies flat. The paper is bright white and doesn't bleed through when using markers. We use this for my son to draw pictures as well as practice writing/reading letters and words. The only drawback is that it doesn't rip evenly, so be prepared for perforated edges if you are hanging drawings on the fridge! We actually prefer to keep everything together to look back through, as opposed to a bunch of loose papers, so it works for us.

In the photo it looks like it's mostly marketed toward children and a bit flimsy, but it's not flimsy at all. It came nicely wrapped in plastic, so if you're giving it as a gift, as I am, it doesn't look as if you just had it laying around the house. I think this would be a great pad for anyone who loves to draw.
