Product description

Standard aluminum push button crutches feature a double extruded center tube that provides load bearing strength where it's needed the most. The special footpiece utilizes durable rivets to secure the aluminum tubing from the inside, providing more stability than plastic connectors. Ibeam center post limits footpiece rotation to a 14 turn, always keeping the pushbutton in view and facilitating easy adjustment.

Recovery isn’t a one-size-fits-all process. That’s why Medline’s Aluminum Guardian Youth crutches adjust to create a custom, comfortable fit. With a weight capacity of 300 lbs., these sturdy yet lightweight crutches use shock-absorbent feet and stair deflectors for safer use at home or school. While slip-resistant stair deflectors help reduce falls, the padded underarm cushions reduce strain on the user’s armpits during prolonged use. Adjust the height of each crutch using pushbutton pins to secure a snug, supportive fit for people between 5’2"–5'10”.

    Absolutely outstanding. I am a 5 foot 2 woman. Who has just had a total hip replacement.

    I ordered these low expectations, and high hopes

    They’re honestly outstanding. The grips are comfortable. The arm rests are super comfortable. The armrest and the grips can both be taken off and washed.

    They are easy to keep clean. And very lightweight.

    The only caution that I would suggest, is that although I am 5 foot 2” they are set at 5 foot 5” So they may not be suitable for someone taller.
