    This product was recommended to me by a dog breeder who also rescues sharpeis and chow chows... as way to dry up hot spots on dogs. I have a chow chow who has always had a problem with hot spots. For those who don't have dogs, hot spots are oozing sores that itch severely and cause a dog to scratch and bite the areas constantly. They are caused by moisture on the skin and under the fur. For this purpose, I found that this product worked very well. It dries up the sores and does not seem to sting when sprayed on.
