    The BEST PS2 adapter I've found so far! Really good quality picture and it's great that you can switch between 480p or 720p as well as switch the aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9 right on the adapter. I bought this to replace one that cost double what this costs and I wish I'd known about this one first because the quality is ridiculously better than my old adapter. Very pleased with this!

    So far so good. The picture quality is way better. This is the 2nd type I've bought. The first ones power plug interfered with the PS2 slims power plug. This one does not.
    It was double the cost of the 1st type, but with it so it doesn't interfere with the PS2s power cord. Considering finding a PS2 in good condition at a reasonable price is not so easy.
    So yes, I'd recommend this model for the PS2 slim.

    HDMI adapters are becoming a necessity for older consoles due to newer TVs/monitors lacking the required connectors that older consoles like the PlayStation 2 needed back in the day, so its nice to see much more of an abundance of these available.

    That being said, the quality given in these adapters can greatly vary from adapter to adapter, and this McBazel is a perfect example of that. Its lower price is shown in the quality, as this adapter does NOT tap into Component signal that the PlayStation 2 is capable of. Instead it taps into the S-Video signal, and even then it looks somewhat rough, with uneven brightness/contrast and a bit of visual smearing. Whilst still an upgrade over the original Composite signal, its not by a considerate amount.

    If you're willing to fork the extra money, try to get an adapter that actually taps into the Component signal, or even an adapter that attempts to scale up the RGB signal (such as the LevelHike adapter), as you will get better looking results. If however you JUST need something that works on a modern TV, this serves that purpose. Just don't expect anything spectacular.

    Very good, has no input lag if the TV is on game mode. Used it for a Timesplitters LAN party at a friends. Probably the best budget option in this regard (I play on a CRT usually). Shots fire instantly without noticeable delay.

    Video quality is 8 out of 10. Doesn't look like the blocky mess of some of the cheaper units. Will be beaten by component on a more expensive unit but it's splitting hairs.

    Works fine on NTSC and PAL playstations and can be powered from the PS2s own usb.
