I installed these in my RG35xxh handheld. They are definitely hall effect sticks. WAY better than the original sticks. Zero cardinal snapping when used with Muos. I had to remove the speakers in the handheld because the speaker magnets cause issues with hall sticks. I just use earbuds now.

Feels exactly the same as ALPS sticks, without the drift issues
I must have replaced the analog sticks on my daughter's Switch 3 or 4 times already. Splatoon 3 is her favourite game and it does a number with the Joy Con analog eventually causing them to drift or malfunction. Hoping these Mcbazel hall effect analog sticks last longer and don't have drifting issues. The kit comes with 2 analog sticks, cross screwdriver, tri-wing screwdriver, pry tool and tweezers, which come in handy for removing and inserting the tiny ribbon cables. The stick looks just like the ALPS stick and doesn't feel any different in terms of stiffness. I did have to calibrate the sticks after replacement as they were not showing as centered. After calibration, it was working fine, no drift or jiggling. So far, the sticks are working great and no drift issues to report.

did not fit my switch
unfortunately, the joystick replacements that are included in this kit do not fit the switch and are not as shown in the listing. As you can see from the photos, they re way too thick/tall and also do not have the ribbon cable connector but instead have a PCB mount style.Scoobisdid not fit my switch
