The fit and finish is fine I guess, but it does look durable and sturdy ! It is nothing fancy, but it does the job well. It fit my 120/70x21 front tire well. Great product for the price. BEWARE though, it will mess with your oil level indicator widow ! Since the bike is not perfectly flat on the ground, my oil level seems to be above maximum. On a flat surface, my oil level is right in the middle. No big deal, as long as you are aware.

    Item exactly as described. Arrived on time as promised. Assembled in under five minutes and is quite sturdy. Depending on your flooring surface, unit may need to be prevented from slipping. Adding a 1/4" to 3/8" plywood pad at the entry, notched out for the pivot cradle, will alleviate the slippage by changing the pivot angle. Makes it much easier to enter and exit. Packaging is not good and why I gave it 4 stars. Nothing much there to damage other than powder coating. Using it to support an Indian Super Chief Limited with large front tire.

    Overview

    I bought this for a 2019 Triumph Bobber Black

    I have a paddock stand for the bike, but because the bike leans when on the kick stand, getting the rear tire lifted is a bit heart stopping. It's not possible to line up both bobbins...because the one on the left side of the bike is lower (lean angle of bike)

    This wheel chock solved the problem. There's no way for the bike to tip over now...just rolled the bike into the wheel chock, it stays perfectly upright...bring in the paddock stand and now the bobbins are perfectly aligned.

    I don't have mine bolted to the ground, but the side support are more than enough to use in this fashion in the garage. I did attach it to a long think length of 1/2 in plywood so it doesn't move forward when I roll the bike into place (the weight of the bike on the plywood keeps the wheel chock in place).

    I highly recommend this not just for transport (in which case you would secure it to your trailer) but also for maintenance in conjunction with a paddock stand.

    Decent wheel chock for the price. I have two other brand wheel chocks to compare these to.

    My cruiser (front 130/90/R16) works well with this chock. But it is a "fat" tire and I would say it is the fattest front tire you could use with this chock.

    My adventure touring bikes don't work as well with this chock. It is a skinny front tire (110/80/R19) and the wheel chock really does not hold the bike very well. With the cruiser it was solid once locked in place. Not so with the taller skinnier front tire.

    The front tie down rings on the cross suppport are too far fwd and too close to the side of the bike to be of much use. You will still want additional tie down points especially if you are going to be trailering with this wheel chock.

    Would not recommend for a bike with a tall skinny front tire.

    Would recommend for bikes wt a moderately beefy front tire.
