Worked in place of the original blade rectangular center hole since this shaft had a round center mounting pin, alignment pins matched without issue.

5 min replacement job. Tip - Keep blade sharpened if you can to get clean cut.

This blade is OEM quality and performs as advertised. For those who say the blade does not cut well, take it off and turn it over, because you have it on backwards. How the blade goes on can be confusing and there is a lot of bad info on the internet. Look at the blade and determine which is the cutting edge. One edge is flat (blunt) and the opposite edge, has an angle going to a point. The edge with the angle is the cutting edge. Without placing your mower in the start position, pull the starting cord a few inches to determine which direction your mower operates. Now install the blade so the cutting edge goes into the grass to cut it when the engine runs. This will make everyone happy, including yourself.

Got this to replace the blade on my 19 yr old Sears Craftsman mower with Honda motor. The mower still works on its first pull, but I messed-up the blade by hitting the city water shut-off valve in my lawn after the ground sank a bit and the metal valve is now sticking up just high enough to catch the blade. I suppose the 19 yr old blade was due for a replacement anyways after years of mulching branches. Installation was super simple. The most complicated part was double-checking to make sure I had it placed correctly with the cutting side facing the right direction. I should be good for several more years of use with my trusty old Honda motor - as long as I make sure to avoid hitting the water valve again.

This thing is terrible.. i dont often wright reviews but i dont believe how poorly this blade cuts, came early,thought it was weird it says made in USA on the product details yet has plain and clear "made in china" on the package it came with.. but it looked nice and came decently sharp so figured wth no big deal if it works.. since then ive done everything i can think of, changed my oil, used premium gass, cleaned the mower underneath so their should be no reason i have to go over each line 3 or 4 sometimes 5 times to get a flat cut, it can power threw big thick grass with my 190cc craftsmen mower yet thick or thin it always leaves a line of grass and spots with uncut or half cut grass.. worst functioning product ive ever bought from amazon .. very very dissapointed..
