From the makers of UNO comes a rummy-type card game with a challenging and exciting twist! The object of the game is to be the first player to complete 10 varied phases with two sets of three, one run of seven, or seven cards with the same color. The twist is that each Phase to be completed is specific for each hand dealt. Players who complete one Phase advance to the next, but those who don't must keep trying until they do. Each deck features “Wild” and Skip” cards, which add excitement and can help you get out of a sticky situation. A “Wild” card can be used in place of a number card, as well as be used as any color to complete any phase, while a “Skip” card causes your opponent to lose a turn! Be the first person to complete all ten phases to win the game. Includes 108 cards and instructions. Colors and decorations may vary.

Have played for years & it's still fun! Easy to learn for adults and school aged children. Can be taken on trips as it's basically just a couple decks of cards in size (just need pen/paper to tally up points as you go). Object of game: There are 10 phases that go in order, whoever completes all 10 first wins! (phase examples: 2 sets of 3, 1 run of 8, 7 cards of one colour, etc.) This one is a classic!

    Like other Mattel card games, Phase 10 is easy to learn, but challenging enough to be entertaining every time. Phase 10 has been a family favourite for close to (or maybe more than) two decades. We've worn out quite a few decks in that time.

    I was excited to find this version that offers the phase guides in card format (a few version purchased prior, used paper guides that would quickly get torn or destroyed if a drink was spilled). I bought a deck for myself and my parents so we have a good deck to use regardless of whose house we're at.
