5.0 out of 5 stars Best Math Book I've Ever Had. Period. Bridges the Gap between Math and Electronics Math
Verified PurchaseThis is the book I've been looking for for over 25 years! I never got a good foundation in anything other than basic math, which has really interfered with the electronics I've dabbled in as an artist for many years. I've always struggled in using the math necessary for designing the circuits I build. I have been actively looking for, and trying out all kinds of different programs/books/videos to help. Nothing has been as helpful as this book. This book bridges the gap between "regular" math and Electronics math. This is the Rosetta Stone for me. Now I don't feel so stupid! Hurray! I also love how the book shows you exactly how to enter the advanced functions on a scientific calculator in order to check your answers.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great way to simplify the mathematics of electricity and electronics!
Verified PurchaseWhether or not you are new to electricity/electronics, or maybe just have a bit of difficulty with the associated math, this specialized textbook makes it extremely easy to learn and understand how to solve the sometimes challenging problems that come with learning E/E technologies. The chapters are broken down into sections of math, but also by the type of circuit (AC/DC, series, parallel, RLC, binary, decibels, etc..) in which you are trying to solve. The author also gives many examples and practice questions to become comfortable with solving the different types of problems, as well as gives the proper steps to use on a calculator to make things even easier to learn. This is one textbook that I wish would have been available so many years ago. But, I'm very happy to have it now as a reference!
