Lemme just start by saying - I suck ( and i mean SUCK ) at video games. I could never get into them as a kid and they frustrated me to no end - I couldn't see the appeal and how people could get so enthralled with them......

I get it now.

I've had such a hard time putting this game down and I have nothing but amazing things to say about it. As someone who is literally the fricken worst at video games, the easy mode is perfectly challenging without being too easy. The graphics are STUNNING - as a VFX artist I just sat there drooling more than once (great job guys!).
The mechanics are easy and the gameplay is smooth. The story is interesting and as a Marvel fan I'm glad it doesn't do the whole "Uncle Ben" thing. The dialogue is serious but lots of lighthearted funny moments - very in character for a Spider-Man game.

Overall, it's made me fall in love and restore my faith in video games. I get it now and I couldn't be happier. I look forward to finishing it and completing all the side tasks and missions because it’s s just phenomenal in so many ways.

I have to come back and applause this game! I saw it was on sale and bought it without doing much of research. I think it's a game from 2018 and honest didn't have high high expectations...until started playing. OMG what a fantastic game!!!! Everything is just super fluent. The swinging through buildings system is just suuuuuuuuuuuuper awesome. You truly feel the freedom zipping around New York as Spiderman. So satisfying. Really this system alone is worth playing the game.

They story line is great too. I believe it's an original story. They game shows/tease about the bosses you going to fight later from very early on. The story line is logical and involving, yet still has good amount of surprise to all these well known characters. The side quests are also fun, not just time extenders. The Taskmaster challenges I still cannot beat...

The only bad/sad part is the ending...I can't stand May's death.... just can't....
