REMOVABLE GRATE

Our two-burner is built with a removable grate for a quick cleanup. No need to worry about damaging your cooking burner, just remove the grill and wash it separately.

WIND SHIELDS

Martin's MCS200 two-burner is equiped with 3 wind shields. 1 large wind shield at the back and 2 side protections to allow you to cook in all weathers.

Easy to use and no issue to clean, this stove surpasses our one year older Coleman double-burner easily. The Martin model we ordered doesn't have a pizo ignition switch, but being an independent family, we find no problem with manually lighting the burner with a typical long-necked gas lighter. No worries at all! A carry handle is built into the lid which also acts as a wind shield for breezy outdoor cooking. On calmer days, the "wings" of the lid can be folded down to make a small, useful shelf extension. Ideal for placing seasonings or a few utensils while cooking. I used a griller plate over the left burner and grilled a perfect steak on this stove. We love it!

I received my stove two days ago and according to my practice, I opened the package and made sure all the parts were there and proceeded to assemble it ipso facto. It was mostly assembled so putting it together was a breeze: just open the windscreens, lower the top grill into position and attach the propane supply tube with the regulator to the stove inlet.
The burners were lit one at a time and the fire was very stable on both and the flames were perfectly blue, meaning there was a perfect balance between air and propane in the fuel mixture. The stove works as advertised!
Having said that, no product coming out of China that used to be made in the US of A is ever going to match in quality of finish what we used to make here, and this is no exception. There are some sharp edges around the body of the stove, especially on the bottom where there's an opening to use as a handle to carry the stove around. Some of these edges are as sharp as a kitchen knife or better. So, caution to the inexperienced camper: be careful with any exposed edges around the stove in general and don't let children touch any part of this item. Otherwise it is a well designed stove, just not finished in a safe manner, but it does do the job. I might sand by hand some of those rough edges, just to be safe.
