I specifically was wanting an unbreakable one for my son but also wanting something not too boring looking. And not steel because I like when you can see what you're measuring myself. The only issue is that it's in cm only and I didn't notice when I selected it. Pretty sure here in Canada they want them to have both cm and inches.

    I bought these rulers for the kids to go back to school with. My son bent his ruler in half and it stayed like that. It may be unbreakable, but if you bend them, they don’t straighten back out. I wish I had gone with metal now.
