    The vacuum wood good. The instructions and information about it is terrible, but it's only a vacuum.
    Good suction, reasonably quite, comes with a few fittings for tools etc, Makita needs to standardize vacuum ports on tools. Shop local and buy it there if you can. I find Jeff Bezos very disturbing.

    The extractor works wonderful, I love it. I hooked it up to my newly purchased Makita 12 inch mitre saw, LS1219L. The only problem is that with this mitre saw it is made to set back against the wall to take less space but when you put the extractor fittings and hose on it it does not go back flush to the wall because of the way the hose mounts on the saw. I contacted Makita to see if there was another connector for this purpose, but there is not at this time. A small blip that hopefully will be resolved in the future but the saw and extractor work just great. I wish I had purchased this for my workshop years ago.
