While not the most powerful compressor, if your just a hobbyist or don't need a lot of air(filling bike tires, air brushing, and smaller air tools etc) and want a quiet unit, this is it... I was skeptical at first as all my other compressors rattled all to he** and fully expected the claim to be typical hot air.. but this unit is quiet enough i can turn it on in the middle of the night and not wake someone in the next room with the door open. As for longevity, its a one gal, so the duty cycle of 50% wont suffice for any high air output tasks so I wont be abusing it. Ill update in the future if any issues arise
