It features up to 38 minutes of continuous use in quiet mode from a single fully charged 18V 3.0Ah LXT® battery (sold separately). The Makita-built brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently; delivering up to 125 Watts of power. Convenience features include a compact and ergonomic design that reduces operator fatigue and a thermoplastic hand grip for longer life and a more comfortable feel. It also features a bagless cloth filtration system that allows for easier cleaning and quicker debris disposal, as well as increased storage capacity for longer time between waste disposal. It weighs only 3.6 lbs. with battery (sold separately) for reduced operator fatigue. It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18V LXT® system, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries. Makita 18V Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls™.
