The most disappointing point about this item is that there is no information provided here about what routers - makita routers this will work with. Fortunately it worked with my oldest 1 hp router with 1/4 bits and works well but would not connect with any of my other 4 routers, including a makita 1/2 bit plunge router, dewalt 3 hp, triton 3 hp and a bosch.
Works well with the Makita and Festool tracks. Don't know about any others.
