I often like to tinker with items as a hobby. I work on my watches, fix my kids' toys, and repair small items like glasses. As I'm getting older, my eyesight isn't what it uses to be. I was thrilled to add this item to my tool collection.
Pros:
+ The magnifying glass structure is well built
+ The table mount works very well. It is padded on the top to protect your table surface. While the bottom grip does not have a rubber pad (small critique) you can easily add a foam pad to address this. The grip itself can move around up to around 30 degrees as well to grip onto more irregular surfaces.
+ The magnifying class can be tilted up or down, and the glass can swivel 360. The springs on the structure assist with the extensions so you can very easily move it around to suit your viewing needs.
+ The cord is fairly long and comes with a charging block!
Cons:
- None I can think of.
My kids have already used it to inspect their gemstone collections and I've changed a few watch batteries with it. Another unintended bonus of this lamp is that I can tilt it to use it as a ringlight for my zoom calls in my basement office. Overall, I highly recommend this item!
