I’ve purchased several different brands of magnetic tiles, and this is so far one of the best ones in terms of its design, variability, functionality, and sturdiness. First of all, this improved set has bigger and stronger magnets than any other brands and within its own brand. This does make a difference when you are building a taller structure or even just any structure. It will hold the tiles better both horizontally and vertically, and my kids feel definitely pleased by its sturdiness. The drawback is that because the magnets are stronger, when the tiles are stacked up against each other, it sometimes becomes quite difficult to take it apart from each other, but it’s a better headache and frustration than when the structure constantly falls apart due to weaker magnets. The finish is one of the top quality, and both my 5-yr and 1-yr olds have been constantly building and crushing it without any damages or issues. The color and design of the tiles are also very pleasing. This is a perfect addition to any existing tiles as it is 100% compatible and makes any structure look much better and interesting. I wish the set had more staircase tiles and it comes with only two, and although the set comes with 102 pcs, 34 pieces are inserts to the square tiles, i.e., window, door, and other design panel inserts. So the set effectively has only 68 playable/stackable pieces. And I think the current price point for 68 pcs is a bit stiff, but again, it’s a wonderful set that will not disappoint your kids.

This was a great buy, however, I would say the pieces are not as durable as some other well known branded companies that make the magnetic tiles. They're great colours and they have indents which create a cool effect for building. The character pieces are a decent addition but do not have magnets on the feet, like some other sets have. They're also not very durable and a bit flimsy. Overall it's a good purchase if you're looking for something "Frozen" related, if not, there are other sets that are probably better as an overall magnet building set.

16 squares completely filled
24 open squares (can put doors, windows inside if you like)
12 triangles
8 of the tall lanky triangles
4 of the E shape pieces
2 of the slightly bigger triangles
2 sets of stairs (got blue two times)
2 dolls

I bought two of these sets and while they build a gorgeous structure I recommend more than two. Two sets are in this finished picture.

Kids worked with what they had for something of lots of stability but wider as well. I'm happy with magnet strength.

Going to be buying more. Maybe another princess set, one train set and a few of the basic sets. Gives you more squares and triangles then this set although more basic.
