A lovely set, my kid absolutely adores playing with it. However, there are a few things to note. First, these are smaller than many of the off-brand magnet tiles. The side length of the square is 65mm, in case you're hunting for matching tiles. Second, more force than you'd expect is necessary to snap in the track into the squares. It isn't bad and it gets easier with repeated use, but it was a surprise the first time I used it. Third, as far as I can tell the light up balls (which are really cool) can't have the batteries replaced easily. It doesn't seem like the sides unscrew or can be pried apart easily. None of these things are necessarily cons, but they are good to know.
The magnetic adhesion is excellent, probably the best of the magnetic tiles (including first party) I've used. The magnets seem similar so I can only chalk it up to the smaller size, and thus smaller magnet:weight ratio. The balls travel smoothly along the tracks, and there's a plethora of track included, giving you a multitude of options for assembly and play. I do wish they sold a separate just magnet tile set so I could make use of the excess of track pieces, but I did not see one on their storefront.
Overall, one of my (and my kid's) favorite magnet tile sets, with a significant amount of replay value.
