I've been taking magnesium biglycinate to help with my sleep for about 2 years now, and it makes a world of difference, especially after having 2 young kids. I used to wake up 2-3 hours before my alarm and just lay in bed awake.... not stressed, just annoyed I couldn't fall back asleep. Now I can get up to pee and attend to a kiddo and fall right back asleep.

I ordered this magnesium supplement and it is a stronger dose than my usual 200 mg. It was a good test though as I had a nap and caffeine later in the day, and still needed to go to bed on time in prep for an early start to my day.

I noticed these pills, although more potent, are actually a little bit smaller than my usual, making them easier to swallow. There was no aftertaste or smell to the capsule.

I took it an hour before bed, and started to feel sleepy right on time! I had a restful sleep and was able to get up in the morning without too much grogginess. I had a small headache however I chalk that up to dehydration.

I'm on a strict dairy and soy free diet for my baby's allergies, and these capsule appear to be safe!

My mother has a magnesium deficiency and she has to regularly get bloodwork done to confirm her levels. It's typically managed (as much as it can be) by taking Magnesium Bisglycinate and so she decided to try this one.

After just under 2 months of taking it, I can confirm it has high absorption (same as her previous magnesium) since her bloodwork remained consistent. She noticed no difference in digestive or gut issues, which is also a good thing.

Not much else to say; thi sis a high quality Magnesium Bisglycinate supplement for those who need it.

What I like about this particular brand is that they are GMP certified, they have minimal ingredients and they are made in Canada. The only non medicinal ingredient is hypermellose. I like that. I experienced no digestive upset and no unpleasant side effects. There was no aftertaste and no odour.

They are easy to swallow capsules and the expiration date on my particular bottle is December of 2029.

I removed one star simply because of the dosage recommendations. The container holds 90 capsules. The dosage recommendations is 1-2 capsules, 1-3 times per day. Potentially, that could be six tablets per day. Each tablet contains 58.5 mg of elemental magnesium from 500 mg of magnesium bisglycinate chelate. 6 doses a day is a lot! It would mean that this bottle would only last a little more than 2 weeks, making them very expensive.

I would prefer to see a specific dosage recommendation and not such a broad range. It would also be safer for the consumer.

Overall, the quality of this magnesium supplement is excellent. The packaging is good, the expiration date is good and they are made in Canada! 4 stars from me!

Classic magnesium bisglycinate. This Asportek brand focuses on higher absorption, which I appreciate, as magnesium comes in many forms and some of them are not nearly bioavailable enough to be worth supplementing with. I didn't notice any side effects or tummy upset with this supplement, which is a good sign. I take it ever night to help with sleep and I definitely don't sleep as well when I miss my nightly dose. Recommend.

High Absorption Magnesium is good for promoting Muscle Function and can also help to regulate sleep patterns. Contains no Magnesium Oxide so it is gentle on the stomach and is Vegetarian friendly. In total you get 90 vegetarian capsules.

Chelated Magnesium is both absorbed more efficiently and is gentler on the stomach than non-chelated forms which makes this better for daily supplementation.

This product is meeting all of my expectations so far. There is a lot to like about this magnesium bisglycinate. Good dose per capsule. Chelated for high absorption, made in Canada, NPN certified, lab tested, and more.

I am not going to go on about ALL of the benefits of magnesium. If you are looking for it you likely know you should be taking it to support over 300 functions in the body. Bysglycinate is a good choice, but it is often recommended to take multiple forms. This will not cause bowel looseness like other forms, this is a highly absorbable and a solid choice.

There are other options out there that offer more for less, but I am content with the quality compared to other higher quality brands on the market. This is definitely on par with pricing and a good overall choice for supplementing magnesium.
