During a power outage some time ago, I went to a local store that had their own generator, to shop. Was looking to replace D and AA batteries but stocks were depleted completely, I then noticed that the C batteries were still available, I had no flashlights that used these type of batteries. I have remedied that, now with this C cell Maglite I have an extremely functional flashlight, very bright and solidly built.
Going to get another one for myself as my wife claimed the first one (family first).
I do have D and AA Maglites also as there is no need to limit oneself.
