Bought on sale ($12.49) on a whim from reviews.
Did same test as another reviewer. Swept, vac'd, mopped first. Then put it together and said, "Okay, impress me!" It pulled up crap off the floor left by the broom, vac, and mop, and it pulled at least as much as I swept.
Maneuvers easily on most floors, but not as well around the toilet, and useless on baseboards.
A narrow 6 or even 4 inch head would be a very useful add-on to get into tight spaces.
Keeping the head slightly wet improves performance. It seems to clean better with less effort. But you need a light hand to keep it from squealing on smooth surfaces like tile. A damp rag to pick up the collected pile also helps keep the dust down.
Clean up is a quick rinse under the tap and wet-wipe the handle.
There is flex in the plastic screw joints on the handle and I suspect that's where it will break first. But for the price, it's surprisingly well made and well finished.
One caveat: handle is on the short side. Four handle sections (vs 3) would make this comfortable to use esp for tall people. It's tolerable for me but I would still like it better with an extra handle section.
Ordering a second for the bath. They collapse so easy and compacts small enough to stow an extra under the sink. Will use a section from this to extend handle to a proper length.
Just hope it lasts though because I'm not seeing replacement heads for it.
