    Disappointing Experience – Not What I Expected

    I had a very frustrating experience with this safe. I purchased it under the impression that it was a fully assembled, ready-to-use product. However, what I received was essentially a DIY kit — thin stamped metal sheets and a pile of screws. Putting it together was far more work than expected, and absolutely not a one-person job. You’ll definitely need an extra pair of hands.

    Assembly took me over 4 hours using the cheap tool provided, and even then, the result was disappointing. There appears to be a miscalculation in the parts design — I ended up with 2 mm gaps on the top and side of the safe, which defeats the purpose of having something secure.

    To make things worse, the combination lock is defective. As soon as I installed the battery, the keypad started making nonstop noise and didn’t respond to either the factory or master codes. The only way I could open the safe was with the backup key, which completely defeats the point of having an electronic lock.

    I also tried to disassemble it to return or fix it, but some of the screws snapped and are now stuck, making it nearly impossible to take apart without damaging the whole unit.

    . I truly believe I was sent a defective product, and this experience has been a major disappointment.

    Item is ok, just a cabinet, but the installation is a pain. And it’s impossible to bolt it to the floor without damaging the cabinet because of the hole positions. Seems like a pretty simple cabinet yet they managed to design it to be a pain to put together. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
