    The pictures hide just how high the clip sits on one side (7/8" away from the body) compared to the end of the clip at the other end. This doesn't allow your tie to lay flat with your shirt and body, and it just looks and feels odd. A standard alligator clip design that sat lower would have served better.

    I have also experienced the clip moving around if bumped lightly. it fails to hold itself in position, and as others said, if it can't hold itself, it can't hold the tie.

    These are your basic necktie clips to keep you tie from moving around and add a little pinache to your suit and tie. These are done very well, have a good look and seem to be holding up nicely. I use them about twice a week and i have no issues thus far.

    I'm sure if i really looked i could nit pick at the welding or paint applique to the black one but really for the money? Why complain just buy them cause you know you need them. I mean if you didn't you wouldn't be reading reviews now would you?
