    I've tryed other outlet covers that often get damaged when not in use because of their high profile. This unit is definitely low profile when not in use and it's easy to install. The other units turn yellow with exposure to UV rays and that's not cool. I haven't had this item for long but time will tell. I recommend this product for now.

With my old outlet cover that was a flip up, one outlet is always exposed. This one expands to accommodate the cord that stays plugged in and closes around the cord that exits the housing. Comes with a foam seal for the back, screws, and 3 different outlet cover faceplates.
