    This bird feeder hanger is great! Description is accurate and it stand up well to the elements and it’s been a hard winter.
    The only negative I have is that it takes the paint/finish off of your rail where you have it clamped. I ended up sticking some material on each side of the clamps to stop this from happening but it was a little too late. Had damage to my rail unfortunately.

    I bought this despite some of the negative reviews citing various issues, but I really wanted this style. Luckily mine arrived with none of the problems. All the parts screwed together properly, everything aligned so that I didn’t need the washers, and the bracket attached to my balcony railing with no problem. It’s a sturdy, well-made item - in fact, it has already survived several storms with high winds since I put it up - and I didn’t see signs of any corrosion. It’s installed on my second floor balcony railing and leans away from the house at about a 45° angle. It’s far away enough from the railing and high enough off the ground that squirrels are discouraged from jumping at the bird feeder. I also discourage climbing on the pole by stringing a few empty soda bottles along it which makes it an unbalanced surface. Would definitely recommend.
