2000 plus pieces at this price is an amazing deal. The build is pretty good and the finished product looks great.
The pieces are good quality, save for 2 that were a bit mangled but repairable. I also had some parts that seemed dirty which make me question the packaging process but the price make me forget about it and wash my hands.
The kit included 4 sailor mini figs which is a nice extra. It also includes decals, these are different than I am used to. They work more like a self adhesive transfer. If you get it right first try, you're golden, if not, well that's it. If you drop the transfer and it lands face down, it's over. So the manual has a few decals now stuck to the pages. The decals are a welcome inclusion, but now i have most on and some not so it is not complete and semetrical.
Overall it compares closely with lego and at this price it is worth the few misgivings. It makes me question where Lego is way over charging or if ever possible corner is being cut with products like this. Would buy again.
