    I wrote to the company last week but I haven't heard back from them. This is what I wrote:

    "Hi,
    I received your Starter Kit for Christmas. I’m new to macrame. I watched and read the info on knots and decided to start with the Hat Hanger. I was really disappointed. The instructions said to cut 4 separate 173 inches of twine. I measured twice on each one before cutting them. First off, the threader broke when I tried to pull the twine through the wooden bead and there were supposed to be two threaders and I only got one. No biggie, I used a crochet hook to pull it through. It took me a while with the videos for the hat which was a bit frustrating because they went a little faster than I could follow. Again not a huge biggie, I just slowed the video down and paused a lot. BUT, the biggest disappointment was near the end, I barely had enough twine to finish the 13 double half hitch knots but had about two feet of the two middle strings of twine left. Very frustrating after having worked on it for quite a while. I couldn’t find anything in the instructions on how to add more twine so I could finish the project.

    So, do I have to start all over or is there a way I can fix it? Also, how will I know if the measurements for the other projects in that kit are correct? I’ve included three pictures for you to see."
