    I use these to pick up piles of chopped up blackberry canes (invasive where I live), nettles, thistles - anything with thorns. They are indispensable! Well made, easy to use & have sped up my process. They are fairly deep & hold quite a bit of debris per scoop when used clam shell style.

My only complaint is the handle area, where your wrist rests. When the hard plastic area rubs againsts the wrist causing some pain. Wearing this pair of "grabbers" lets you lift and bag (or dump into a trash can) probably FIVE times the amount you can hold in just two adult hands, and even two to three times what you could do with a bunch of leaves (or other similar yard waste) that you'd hold against the tines of a normal lawn rake with your "free" hand and dump into such containers. You can work faster, too.

    I've only used these once, so cannot speak to long-term durability or whatever, but I do have one STRONG recommendation: wear sturdy work gloves when you're using these, because bare-handed use lets the back side of the product scrape against the upper back of your hand (or lower wrist, depending on how big you are) as you maneuver them, no matter how you grip the handles. That's not a big deal for using for just a few "scoops", but after 20 or 30 minutes or more, that can get a little uncomfortable. Having gloves with cuffs "insulating" that area is definitely a useful technique!

    The part of the scoop that presses against your wrist/forearm could have been made longer to improve leverage when trying to scoop up a bunch of leaves. It does work, but it can be a bit uncomfortable when doing a bunch of scooping.

    These plastic scoops have changed my life forever. Made of very strong and durable plastic, the scoops are easy to use together, or just one at a time. They are deep, so they can grab as much grass, leaves, even fruits or twigs, with ease, and help a LOT when taking things to the trash bin; sure helps make clean-up a lot faster.
