If the motor over heats or has excessive current, it will automatically turn off the power to prevent the motor from burning out

    Helped me repair my fridge. Unfortunately there was no product available with only two pins like my fridge had, so I ended up getting a spark when I first connected the new 3 pin relay. And the fridge didn’t work. But then I read you could disassemble the new and old relays and put the ceramic disc from the new one into the old one. Even though there was a burn mark on the ceramic disc (probably from my spark situation) the old relay with the new ceramic disc in it worked! For two weeks. Now I’m buying a new fridge as replacing the compressor is too expensive to be worth it for me.
