    These seem pretty durable. They survived a preliminary trip through the washer and dryer without any damage. These days, that’s enough to impress me. I put some potatoes in one and it looks like they’re going to help block light so that the potatoes don’t sprout so quickly. It’s easy to open and close them with the string closure. They give an old-timey look to the kitchen when placed near vintage objects, especially wooden spoons in a vintage glass container. Their natural shade blends well with light wood and looks good with stainless steel and glass. They might also make an interesting gift bag, which the recipient could use later. Like a gift inside a gift.

    Conveniently sized mesh bags that hold everything from tomatoes to avocados to zucchini to celery. I like the bags because the produce doesn't sweat (like in plastic bags), so the contents of each definitely keep fresher longer without spoiling.

    I deducted a point though because the closeknit weave of the bags make it more difficult to see what's in each bag at a quick glance. The photos on the 鶹 site (that show the produce bulging out of the bag) are great for advertising, but in reality, that's not usually how full we fill our bags if you want the bags to protect and preserve. So I'm noticing that every time I open my produce drawers, it's not immediately obvious which bag contains the tomatoes or plums or avocadoes, etc.

    Otherwise, I do like the bags very much and find them to be very good value for money.
