Very bright fill-light. The fill-light did not come with a diffuser but I did appreciate one there, which could be purchased separately.
The support (cradle) is well designed, it can be mounted horizontally or vertically and can rotate 360 deg. It can also sit on the table by itself (horizontally). Compared to the 25W model, it packs more features and power in a smaller housing at the cost of getting louder fan noise.
Most of the time I used two 25Ws on a mount so that it had a wider coverage. At times when I could only bring one I always reached for the 40W for convenience and more flexibility on power.
*** Using it with charging power on I found no issues when 45W pd/pps or above was applied. Charging below power when the unit switched on would cause the unit cycle on and off.
