Why is it possible for a light to flicker slowly?

When there is a wall or object within 15cm of the product, the light will be reflected onto the photosensor, causing the sensor to "misjudge" it as daytime, thus causing flickering.
If "flickering" occurs, how should I adjust it?

1: Place the product in an unobstructed area within 15CM.

2: Try to lower the brightness of the product.
What sensors does it have/How does it work?

NOTE: It is only equipped with a dusk to dawn sensor, not a motion sensing sensor, so it cannot be triggered by motion.

We use 2 of these to illuminate the floor in case one of us has to get up in the middle of the night. I like the ability to dim the output, however for us this was still too bright. We solved that problem by applying a strip of duct tape over part of the light. The lighting is highly subjective. What I think is too bright might be perfect for someone else.
