I was always annoyed with my mugs losing heat too fast and not being able to enjoy my morning coffee longer. I started looking for a product just like this and am glad I came across these mugs as they have all the features I was looking for, specifically the cork bottom to limit heat loss on the bottom of the mug and of course a lid to limit cooling up top. I have a double wall metal mug with a lid but prefer to drink out of ceramic so these fit the bill nicely and they look good too. Overall they accomplish the goal, the reality is the ceramic will still lose heat inevitably so while the lid and base do absolutely slow the cooling process there is just no way to perfectly keep the mug hot forever but these do as good a job as is possible I feel. The only other little gripe is the mouth of the lid could slide back just a little more but it’s not a big deal. Overall these are my go to mugs in the morning and I really enjoy them. The cork bottom pops on and off easily for washing or if you want to microwave the mug for a quick reheat it’s super easy
