Warm Tips
- Do Not directly touch the lamp during working, the lamp surface temperatures is very high!
- Use a good quality socket where the metal lead comes in full contact with the base of the bulb (a gap can cause power to arc).
- Do not switch the heat bulb on and off frequently for a short time.
- Turn on 3-5 hours a day, because long-term high-temperature work can easily shorten the life of the bulb.

I decided to buy new lights for my lizard, and when they arrived, they arrived in a plain white box. There was nothing written on any of the boxes, so I assumed the box was maybe blank but the bulbs were good. I was wrong tho, there is no UVB out put, I have tested them for UVB. They're just regular LEDS. I'm glad I was able to be skeptical, because a new lizard owner might not know. UVB is vital to reptiles, so I would hate to have someone's pet suffer due to something like this.
