💪🏼To think about:
-Clearance: measure width,24” across and ensure enough space for the hands to grab. It needs extra space around the toilet tank, not only the toilet seat.
- Check picture to make sure it'll fit your style of toilet, not all will fit , think about installation, comfort, and security always with mobility props.
LIKED FEATURE: Can be used besides seniors for impaired mobility situations like pregnancy or surgery as well.
✔ ️ Easy Clean: I bought this for my family guest bathroom, as I already have a standard four-legged support in my regular bathroom for my elderly parents. This is less obvious, more aesthetic, and the best part is much easier to clean the toilet, as it is just on the seat, with no surface attachment to the bottom of the bathroom floor. My Roomba is happy with this install.
✔ ️ Easy install / take off: The second reason is that if I need to move it around the house, or take it away to a different home, there is no drilling required when installing or taking it off.
✔ ️ Design: The structure frame is metal, with handrails or arms in a wood finish. this makes it a non toilet look. It's white bright white which is easy to clean.
✔ ️ Ergonomics: Adjustable from 9 to 12 inches, at four different heights. the height of the arms can be raised according to the Torso length of the person. The support it provides is on both the right and left side, much more stable than a handrail on one side of the toilet. getting up is more balanced, with the weight being bad by the arms of this handrail, off the body.
💪🏼My tips
While the wood grip on the arms is stable, it can become slippery, especially with wet hands, using a bidet. I added some clear construction tape to make it Non-slip.
This version doesn't have foldable handles, there is an option with a different style where the handles can be folded up. it's a little bit bulkier and heavier. I enjoy making my home comfortable, for improved Independence and safety for my older parents. they gave us a lot, and I can do just enough by making small contributions like this. 😉I benefit greatly from reading about others' experiences, which is why I share my own.
