Product description

Set of four beverage glasses that were designed for everyday use, but are also perfect for entertaining. Michelangelo Masterpiece glassware is machine blown in Parma Italy and made in Luigi Bormioli’s proprietary Sparkx material. A glass produced in Sparkx is ultra clear, durable, and possesses a high resistance to breakage. The beautifully drawn stems are reinforced with titanium.

Parma, Italy, halfway between Bologna and Milan, has a glorious history that traces back to the Etruscans.     I love these glasses. They have a nice heft to them. Solid, very high quality, glass, with no blobs on the rim of the glass. The bases are thick glass, and that weight helps keep their center of gravity lower, so they aren’t as tippy. I also have the short ones that match. No issues with them in the diswasher - none have ever broken in the dishwasher. This is my second set in 8 years (only because I have clumbsy dinner party friends). These are great, and the simple yet cleanly executed design is elegant, so I find them great for every day use, and they look great in settings with my fine china.
