We were very impressed with this LED Motion Sensor. It's well made and finished. We prefer to back our car into the garage and had installed reflective tape to guide us in with our vehicle backup camera. The addition of this motion sensor has made it so much easier and it works both during the day and at night, staying on until we reach the stop (red and yellow line - see photos). The red and white reflective tape is ok but the yellow and red (we've noted the product available on 鶹 in one of the photos) works much better on the epoxy layered floor.

    We have a problem with wildlife always either getting into our garbage bins or ripping up the garden or making a mess in the compost bins, or something. There's always something it seems. And since we don't want to harm any animals we decided to try a deterrent approach, sound and light. This is part of the light solution.

    We have several solar powered motion sensor lights on our property but they're not overly bright (the skunks do seem to appreciate having their path lit up I think) but we needed something bright enough, shocking enough, to scare them away. I hoped this light would be it. And so far, it is.

    This light is fairly small and it plugs in, so no depending on sun or snow covering the panels or anything like that. And it's bright. It has settings on the back so you can adjust pretty much every aspect - how sensitive it is to motion, how long the light stays on and how bright, so we were able to set it perfectly for the location.

    As you can see, we have it above a shed door, plugged in inside the shed. When there's movement within, I'd say 20 feet, it turns on and it's bright enough that it would shock you. So far it hasn't worked on the raccoons though since they just found a new path to the garbage bin. Those are the only animals we've seen around though since putting it up so that's good.

    I'm giving this light 5 stars because it's powerful for it's size, it's customizable and it's inexpensive. A win on all counts.

    The media could not be loaded.
    10W is barely more than an LED lightbulb but when this thing goes off it puts off a very good spread that illuminates a fairly large area. The room might not be well lit like it is during the day, but it throws off enough light to see the obstacles and where things are; enough to quickly grab something or find the lights.

    The detection isn't as great as a similar style 50W light I have. I had to get fully in to the garage before it would go off; the door swinging isn't enough. This could be a benefit if you live in close quarters to neighbours and don't want your light triggering all the time, but it might miss some things you would want it to trigger for.

    It's pretty small and you could mount it pretty much anywhere.

    It's at a very affordable price and the casting is very durable so it will probably last a fair while.

    Decent choice if you don't need (or can't use) super bright lights.
