3.0 out of 5 stars NON MOLTO RESISTENTE

5.0 out of 5 stars Guatalove Guatemala
Verified PurchaseLonely Planet, as always captures the main items, and in this case, for this trip, served well as a read up in preparation, and while on this trip (organized tour). Gotta love m, and we do; connecting with this country, culture, ruins, music and people leaves a deep imprint; highly recommend both visit and book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Extremely disappointing !
Verified PurchaseI bought the brand new editions of Colombia and Guatemala 2023 : I was so SHOCKED by the changes, especially by the suppression of the very useful suggestions on Accommodation and Eatings : just few lines without any information such as address, website, tel. number not even the localization on the maps which are very faded. In Guatemala I do not wander around with my iphone which can easily be grabbed ! With a map on paper better. I therefore requested straight for a REFUND, which I obtained. For each country I travel at least 3 months so I really need lots of information that I could find in the previous editions. From now on, I WON'T BUY ANYMORE NEW LPs but will buy instead old versions 2019/2020 and do the updating myself using the always useful previous format. What a shame, just to please young superficial tourists travelling one/2 weeks in a country !
