5-Position Magneto Dial Ignites Engines

The Switch Panel accommodates a wide range of different aircraft and features a 5-setting rotary switch that individually controls the magnetos in your plane’s ignition system. The ‘R’ and ‘L’ positions activate their respective magneto in each engine, ‘BOTH/ALL’ activates every magneto, and moving to ‘START’ engages the starter. Once engaged, the engines and magnetos turn, working in unison to fire at exactly the right time in the ignition process.

Realistic Landing Gear Control with LED Indicators

Convenient LEDs provide visual indication of real-time gear status from FSX and Prepar3D. If your flight sim of choice is X-Plane, plugins are available for direct download from the Saitek website. Now you can see the exact state of your landing gear with a mere glance at the Switch Panel.

It is a quality product, a little plastic feeling, but over all nice. The huge drawback is finding the drivers to use it and the fact that you need specific drivers for different games. If you are purchasing this for Microsoft Flight sim 2020, WAIT! There are no drivers available and most logitech panels, including this one do not work. You'd think with a massive release like this they would release a driver on day 1. But nope.

    Very happy with the purchase. My only nit picking points are that the ignition switch should be spring loaded for the start position, and the Avionics Master is only one rocker switch, where most aircraft I fly have two. Buy they are not serious issues at all. Easy to work around.

    A little pricey but the unit is well built and the controls are quite solid. Mounts easily on top of the Saitek Flight Yoke if you already have one. I had a hard time to get it to initially work in FSX. The device would not appear in the list of controllers under the settings section of FSX. However, after installing the Logitech flight control configuration plugin from their website and loading a flight in FSX, the unit working. The controls were all configured. Important that you may need to actually start a flight to confirm that the device is working properly.

    Got this device for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and it does what it's supposed to do. The unit is well built and nicely finished for the price. I guess I was hoping that I could assign some of the simulation's other functions to the switches. The software needed to operate it must be downloaded (at this time anyway) and other key bindings are not possible. That essentially means it will be only 100% functional for certain types of aircraft. Most of the controls should work fine for the majority of planes. Still thought I would give it a try. Other Saitek modules are available and may be more useful.
