Smooth and Accurate Combat Flight Simulator Action
The X52 helps make you the ace in your squadron with its full arsenal of buttons, switches, and multiple control axes.

Logitech G Saitek X52 Flight Control System
Closer to Reality
X52 defines precise flight simulator operation, employing a multifunction LCD for easy access to an astounding 282 programmable commands. Coordinate your flight plan with clock and stopwatch function, plus an adjustable handle to accommodate a wide range of hand sizes.
Elite Features
- Joystick with Twist Rudder Controls
- Throttle with Detents for Reverse and Afterburner
- PC Software Enables 282 Programmable Commands
Precision Centering Mechanism
A highly accurate centering mechanism ensures the joystick will easily return to the neutral position whenever you need it to. Non-contact technology on the X and Y axes, along with constant spring force, enhance control while increasing durability.
Advanced Grip Adjustment System
A five-position handle adjustment system conforms to your grip style. And to promote maximum comfort during long flights, the joystick's handle also features contours which harmonize with your digits.
3D Twist with Rudder Lock
The joystick's twist rudder controls add another dimension of command to simulated flight. If you prefer more traditional control, a rudder lock switch disables the twist capabilities and confines input to the X and Y axes – ideal for use with Pro Flight Rudder Pedals (sold separately).
Progressive Throttle with Resistance Adjustment
Boasting detents for afterburner and idle, the throttle unit's progressive functionality improves aircraft response. Yet another customizable feature found on the X52, a tension adjustment dial lets you choose the throttle's resistance to suit the way you fly.

Multifunction LCD Display
The X52's LCD screen - with adjustable backlighting - enables you to view information about your button configurations with only a quick glance.
Powerful Programming Software (PC Only)

- Reviewed in Canada on July 8, 2020Verified PurchaseJust received my controller. I have alot of extra programming to do with it, but I'm enjoying the feel of the joystick and the throttle.
- Reviewed in Canada on October 29, 2018Verified PurchaseI like almost everything, I use it on a iMac Pro with X Plane 11 for aircraft with yoke controls. Note that the digital screen feature does not work with Apple computers.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 13, 2017Verified PurchaseGreat HOTAS! It works well with a PC. Lots of buttons to bind. The drivers are still Mad Catz even though Logitech owns Saitek now, but, they work well enough. I bought it for PS4 to play War Thunder as it was advertised as being compatible, however, the hat switches don't function all of the time and you cannot turn off the lights on the stick/throttle on a console. These lights can be blinding if you are using it in a dimly lit room, especially the hat switch lights.
- Reviewed in Canada on March 30, 2021Verified PurchaseVery good item.
- Reviewed in Canada on January 23, 2019Verified PurchaseOther than the front facing cables, overall solid product. handles being jostled around rather well, and maintains a perfect deadzone.
- Reviewed in Canada on September 1, 2019Verified PurchaseThe yaw/stick rotation got glitchy within one week of purchase and was outright unusable within two weeks. A quick search online found that I was far from the only person with this issue but fortunately it happened quickly enough that I was able to get a refund. On the up side, the stick and throttle are comfortable and have a ton of buttons.
- Reviewed in Canada on February 20, 2022Verified PurchasePros
1) Entry level price
2) Easy to set up
Cons
1) Useless software
2) clunky feel, loose stick
3) Not enough buttons
4) Short connecting cable between stick and throttle.
Meh. Just meh.
Spend a bit more and get an x56. Or just go nuts and buy the TM Warthog. This might be passable for an Ace Combat type game, but not for a hard core flight sim enthusiast.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yea I got it for Elite Dangerous
Verified PurchaseThis is a first impression review with little use time. Things may change with more stick time.
First off, Gees these things are expensive. It's been years since I bought a flight controller for a game but I don't remember them being this expensive. So this thing had some pretty big expectation. So first off I was a little disappointed when the box arrived and saw all that the shipper did was put a label on the flight controller box. Given that the box was then left on my front door step for half a day letting anyone walking by that it was a ~$300 flight controller sitting there. Fortunately the porch pirates where busy in another sector so my package was sitting there when I got home.
Setup was a little painful but not for the reason you may expect. The USB cable on this does not come off the flight stick but off the throttle control. Unfortunately for my setup my computer is on the right side of my desk and this puts the USB cable on the left side. Generally this isn't a problem because modern devices usually have fairly long cables. This thing does not. If my computer was on the left side of the desk it wouldn't have been a problem but since it's not it meant it's cable was about two feet too short. I lucked up in that my monitor has two utility USB ports on it's back so instead of running to the computer I just had to run to the monitor, got lucky there. The take away here. This thing has a short USB and is on the left side so keep that in mind when purchasing for you build.
Following another reviewers recommendation I did not install the drivers for this device and I wasn't prompted either so that was a win. When I did fire up Elite Dangerous I did expect that the game would work immediately with no issues, that didn't happen. The condoler was dead in the water. Head over to the controls panel to start the tedious process of mapping every command onto the controller when I notice something. In the pull down for the different configurations (was going to see if I could make a custom one) I noticed one called Saitek X52. The game actually came with a preloaded setup for this controller. Welp, that was easy.
Overall impression of this thing is a bit overwhelming for someone that doesn't use flight controllers much. Some of the buttons seem a little unintuitive and I'm still looking at just about every button I'm pushing to know what I am doing but I've only had it a day so yea. Build wise, this thing is beefy. The stick didn't seem to move any being on my mouse pad but the throttle did seem to move over time and need to be repositioned. I did try the suction cups on the throttle but all the did was prevent sudden moves not a gradual over time which is not unexpected. It's not annoying enough to down rate for but something that does need mentioned. The LCD display on the throttle is not lit by default (might not actually be lit) so it's next to impossible to see what is going on with it beyond the fact that it's also at a weird angle when sitting on a desktop.
Beyond that there isn't much to say at this point. This controller didn't make be a better in-game pilot (lost a couple ships prove that point wrong) but honestly wasn't expecting it too. We'll see how it goes and if need an update as required.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absurdamente customizable

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it, made for a mans ruff handling
Verified PurchaseI love this Flight controller very much. I sore someone wrote that the thrust lever is stiff and lifts from the table ;) That stiffness adds to the realism making it feel like a real aircraft thrust lever. I just apply a downward force as I shift forward or back and found it depended on the surface you use. If the suckton caps are not holding it into place its because the table surface is too porous. The right surface and the suction caps will work just fine. The X52 works as stated, it's great stuff and makes using it on flight simulators a dream. Be a man, and push down on that lever as it's built tuff to be handled by an enthusiastic pro!
