    I’m a big fan of cast iron cookware—I already have two skillets, a loaf pan, a waffle iron, and a teriyaki iron, and I’ve been eyeing a Dutch oven. So when I saw this cast iron baking pan drop to around $70 CAD, I didn’t hesitate and ordered it right away.

    The first one arrived with a broken handle (and the broken piece wasn’t even in the box), but I returned it and got a replacement. The second one arrived in perfect condition, and I’ve used it a few times since.

    This pan is everything I hoped for: no warping, no need for parchment paper, food comes out crispy and golden brown, and it’s non-stick if you season it well. It’s also a great size and feels like it’s built to last a lifetime.

    Keep in mind—it’s heavy! But that’s to be expected from a solid piece of iron. Overall, I absolutely love this baking pan and highly recommend it.

    Trying to stay away from any Teflon or any coating on my cookware. This is wonderful. No more worries about ingesting chemicals. Cleaning is a breeze too. Hot water and I use coarse salt to scrub. Make sure to dry well. If you find it is rusty because you forgot to dry it properly. Simply rub with lard! Good as new!

    Since my wife saw a cooking show highlighting Lodge Cast Iron Products, she has had me get a few of their products. This baking pan is one of the most resent. While not cheap they are well worth the money. Solidly made (made in America), pre-seasoned (so need to go through the hassle of oiling and baking before using), easy to clean and maintain (as per the enclosed instructions) and deliver on the cooking/baking. You can't go wrong when purchasing a "Lodge" product - also great as gifts - Son and his wife love the "Lodge" product we gave them last Christmas.

    Great pan, but not packaged correctly by 鶹. First one came in pieces, replacement came in damaged. I contacted 鶹 directly by calling to advise and they promptly corrected d the problem, so I’m happy. However, this can be avoided as this is a good product and simply protecting with proper protection would solve problem. No more non-stick chemical laden pans for me

    The finish on this piece is created by the polymerization of cooking oil. Thus the finish should improve with use. It is poorly packaged for shipment as it is just wrapped with brown paper and placed in a cardboard box. 鶹 stands by their products, so I assume that any broken pieces will be replaced. A warning to purchasers in Canada: prices are usually much higher in Canada, so compare prices and watch for sales.
