This pencil sharpener isn’t the highest quality, but it works fine in a pinch. It sharpens pencils well enough, though the finish isn’t super smooth—so I can’t say it’s excellent. That said, it’s compact and convenient to carry around, which makes it useful for on-the-go use. Not my favorite, but it gets the job done.

It took a little trial and error to get this to sharpen to a proper point while also not eating away too much of the pencil since there's no auto-stop. I've found that you want to press the pencil down with a decent amount of force if you want to get a long cone without accidentally breaking off the tip, and keep it in there for roughly 2-3 seconds depending on how much sharpening is needed. It's not quite as high-tech as a normal electric sharpener, but it makes up for that by being lightweight and compact.
