Little Giant CS-SS Crawl Space Sump System

For residential crawl spaces and basements

The Little Giant CS-SS Crawl Space Sump System was designed for sump systems found in crawl spaces or homes with shallow sump pits.

The basin for this system is 18 inches in diameter by 22 inches high and the on/off levels for this pump are set for shallower systems. This pump comes on at 7 to 10 inches and turns off at 2 to 5 inches.

The Little Giant CS-SS Crawl Space Sump System contains the following:

1/3 HP cast iron sump pump with snap-action switch (Little Giant 6EC-CIA-SFS)
18-inch diameter x 22-inch high lightweight perforated polypropylene basin
Structural foam cover with slip fit flanges
1-1/4-inch x 24-foot discharge hose kit and 1-1/2-inch to 1-1/4-inch reducer
1-12-inch MNPT barbed check valve

Little Giant CS-SS Designed for Confined Spaces

The Little Giant CS-SS sump system was designed for CONFINED SPACES. The basin measured 18 inches in diameter by 22 inches high. The system contains everything you need to set-up or replace a sump system including 24 feet of discharge hose including an adapter, check valve and a 1/3 HP pump. The pump is CSA certified to US and Canadian standards.

Includes 1/3 HP 6EC-CIA-SFS Sump Pump

The Little Giant CS-SS sump system includes a Little Giant 6EC-CIA-SFS (506804) sump pump. The sump pump can deliver up to 3180 GALLONS PER HOUR and has a 28-ft. shutoff. The pump will turn on when water reaches 7 to 10 inches and will turn off when water reaches 2 to 5 inches. This pump features the following:

integrated snap action float switch
heavy-duty cast iron housing
designed for continuous duty
energy-saving low amp draw
1-1/2-inch FNPT discharge
Clog-resistant design
PSC motor with thermal overload protection

Contractor-preferred Snap-Action Switch

The Little Giant CS-SS sump system includes the 6EC-CIA-SFS pump which comes equipped with the contractor-preferred integrated snap-action switch. This switch is better suited for narrower sump pits. The float is made of solid material so it will never get water logged. The switch is protected by a rod protector which prevents the switch from hitting the side of the sump pit and malfunctioning.

This tank and pump was buried in my yard 3 years ago to pull water from my poorly draining back yard. This system has worked flawlessly since it was installed. I have recently purchased a back up pump just in case the old pump fails (usually during the spring rains). When the ground becomes saturated with water, my septic tank would back up. NOT ANY MORE. Prior to installing the pump and tank we would have to have the septic tank pumped two or three times in the spring @ $400 per trip.
