Bought this book for its practical tips on making a comfy home environment and as an introduction to the hygge lifestyle. It also works as a cute, mini coffee table worth displaying to guests (free for them to peruse). Simple layout, nice blend of photos and text along with interesting facts, statistics, and some site recommendations if you ever travel to Denmark. An easy, engaging, personable read (I read it over the course of 2 days...and I'm a slow reader).

Did not know what to expect when buying this book. it is basically a coffee table book I purchased as a gift for my mother. She loves it though, there are all kinds of really neat facts and fascinating things contained therein. I flipped through it a bit and found it was a nice collection of living life as simple and cosy as possible. I recommend for anyone looking to just have a beautiful piece of art sitting on their table for company to quickly flip through when visiting.

Good to read! This is not a book that tells you it has the answer to happiness, it is a book that explains you, from what information research about happiness have gathered, what seems to be happiness for people around the world!
From there, the author implements the way the danish lives, and how it makes them happy.
I loved this book! I really recommend 😁

This book has completely changed the game for me on how I plan to design my space, spend time with my husband, and the overall mindset I have regarding the winter blues. I'm obsessed with Hygge and devoured this book in 1 day. Very easy read, and filled with so many practical ways to create that Hygge like environment. Highly recommend, especially during quarantine!

I think the book itself is very hygge. It looks good in your home along with your other books. I must also say that the layout and the images in the book are nice. I have a few complaints - the points in the book are mostly repeated and can really be said in only a few pages. After reading the book I learned that my home is already hygge. It is just human nature for people to want to make their houses cozy with candles, and books and a fire place. Common sense.
