About us

Lisle Corporation recently celebrated the company's founding and 115 years of continuous manufacturing in Clarinda, Iowa in 2018. The privately owned company is led today by third, fourth, fifth and sixth generation family members.

C.A. Lisle started the company in 1903 with the first product being horse-powered water well drilling machines. To combat the seasonality of the well drilling business, the young company branched out and also manufactured washing machines, cream separators, and push-type reel lawn mowers.

Product description

A super strong extractor set made of a special hardened, shock-resistant tool steel. Works on both left and right hand threads. Super outs cut their way straight into bolts, eliminating wedging or further tightening of frozen bolts and screws. Five extractor sizes extract 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch and larger bolts and screws.

Have dug me out of a few holes. Only wish it was easier to buy individuals for if/when one breaks.

Works well for intended use. Could be of better quality, wars down after a few uses.

Work very well and worth every penny. Used the large one to extract a spark plug that had broken off and it worked like a charm.

This tool is great, at first I had drilled a hole about 1/4" in order to extract my bolt and it didn't work so I decided to follow the instructions by drilling a hole 3/8" deep and it worked great, the bolt came right out

I cracked the tube between the switch module and gage manifold on my air compressor. I separated the parts, but I couldn't remove the tube pieces from the compressor parts. This tool resolved my issue in about 30 seconds. After connecting the parts with a $3 brass tube purchased at the big box store, the compressor was up and running.

5.0 out of 5 stars Extracted Exhaust Stud on Mercedes OM648 Engine

Broke exhaust stud upon removal (didn't even take that much) and needed a stud extraction tool. This tool worked amazing first try, I got the stud fully out.

However, upon trying to remove the 1/8" tool, the extractor broke into two pieces. Hopefully Lisle will warranty the item.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than the typical EZ Outs
Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2017

I broke a standard EZ Out trying to remove a bolt. After doing a little bit of reading - folks said this style of tool was more likely to round out the hole you drilled than break in the opening. So... I thought I would give it a try. It worked! These will be the first thing I reach for with any future broken bolts.

I do like that these came with a rubber storage holder. It's keeps things together in a compact way that is easy to see.

As a side note... I used these in combination with 'Mayhew Pro 37316 1/2-Inch Shake 'n Break Pneumatic Bolt Breaker'. I had to also use a few adapters to get to the socket drive I needed... but it was well worth the effort. With this connected to the air hammer... I used it to hammer the removal tool into the hole I drilled. Once it was fully seated... it took about 40ish seconds with the air hammer going, penetrating oil, and smooth/constant pressure with a wrench to get this to break free. It removed the broken bolt without much physical effort.

5.0 out of 5 stars worked the first time; pricey but worth it

Loved that it worked as advertised. I’ve tried a different product (the reverse drill bit extractor) which did not work because the drill bit could not bite into the hex bolt. This extractor set was made of a much harder material, so that just a few hammer blows onto the bit (set into the hex opening) was enough to bite deep and provide traction to turn loosen the hex bolt.
