Not gonna lie, the wiper arm was stuck so hard that I thought the little hooks of the arm puller tool were going to bend.. but they didn't and when the loud popping noise of the wiper arm releasing came, I knew it had worked fine!
There is a BUT!
The little bar used to turn the mechanism is too thin. It does bend, and because of how short it is, I had to use a "lever" mechanism to properly twist it. I ended up usinga metallic straw. It is exactly what it sounds like.. a stainless steel straw (washable) for drinks. It had the perfect diameter to fit the little arm in, and created a longer handle to "torque" the whole mechanism and twist. The pittle arm ended up bending anyway (so did the straw) but by rotating it every now and then you can kind of fix it.
In the end, it saved me a lot of troubles and worked exactly as it was supposed to. But maybe consider getting a very small piping or alum straw to do like I did. Cheers
